The Athen’s Surgery and Imaging Center
is a one story wood frame, masonry building which contains 15,000
square feet and a 3,000 square foot basement. The building contains
a 4,500 square imaging Center that houses such technologies as
MRI, CT, general radiology, mammography and ultra sound. These
pieces of equipment require specialized HVAC and cooling equipment.
In addition lead and RF shielding is required in 3 of the rooms.
The 5,000 square foot surgery center has specialized requirements
such emergency power and associated transfer switches, 90% filtrated
air and medical gas delivery systems.
