New Medical Facility
Hokanson Companies, Inc has recently broken ground on a new 25,000 square foot medical/surgical building for Optum on the northwest side of Muncie, Indiana.
The building will be occupied by an Ophthalmology group and part of the building will be a surgery center to support the Ophthalmology practice. The site will accommodate expansion of the project should the demand arise.
Hokanson Companies, Inc. is providing development and construction services and will manage the facility upon completion in Spring 2022.
Milestone Celebration – 50 years of service
Hokanson Companies, Inc was started by Steve’s father, Maynard Hokanson, in 1938. Steve accompanied his father in the corporation on February 4, 1971, and has been its President and Chief Executive Officer since 1983. When Steve joined the organization, Hokanson Companies, Inc. was primarily focused on property management. Under Steve’s leadership as CEO, Hokanson Companies has grown to include four active divisions: Real Estate Development, Brokerage, Property Management, and Construction.

(December 2019) A single‐story, 45,312 square foot Community-Based Outpatient Clinic with 250 surface parking spaces to be built on approximately 9.5 acres located .5 miles from I‐70 and IN Route 46 on Bill Farr Drive. This facility will feature primary care service (PACT), mental health, pathology /laboratory, eye clinic, audiology, imaging, including a mobile imaging pad, prosthetic, and physical rehabilitation.
Orangeburg, South Carolina
(September 2019) A single‐story, 23,523 square foot Community-Based Outpatient Clinic with 118 surface parking spaces to be built on approximately 5.5 acres located in the southeastern Quadrant of North Road and Magnolia Village Parkway. This facility will feature primary care service (PACT), mental health, pathology/laboratory and a mobile imaging pad.
Ocala, Florida
(September 2019) A single‐story, 58,671 square foot Outpaent Clinic with and 350 surface parking spaces to be built on approximately 10 acres located SW 49th Road and SW 48th Avenue. This facility will feature primary care service (PACT), audiology, eye clinic, mental health, imaging, and pathology.
